3rd Grade Classroom Donation
Dear Third Grade Families,
In the past years, a donation plus a supply list was part of the Back-to-School experience. This year, the third-grade teachers are requesting a donation of $200.00. This includes all classroom supplies (does not include any possible field trips). All supplies will remain in the classroom for daily use. Supplies vary by teacher but may include: journals, folders, pencils,
expo markers, art supplies, and other necessities. Additionally, your donation may be used to purchase online subscription services.
A separate “housekeeping” supply list will be distributed by individual teachers requesting such items as Kleenex, wipes, sanitizer, etc.) The third-grade teachers work as a team; however, each teacher has a unique organizational style, so the supplies needed by your student may vary slightly from classroom to classroom.
We as a team work closely together to develop curriculum and support social emotional learning (SEL). Although third grade will bring some new responsibilities, we know your student will become an active learner and enjoy the challenge of school. We are requesting that all parents provide headphones/earbuds for their child. Some earbuds will be available for those that cannot bring in their own.
We look forward to meeting you on the first day of school as we welcome your child to our third-grade classes. Mark your calendar for Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at 6:20pm – starting in the MPR, then continuing in the classroom.
*No curriculum or educational experience will be denied to students who do not donate.
