5th Grade Classroom Donation

Dear Fifth Grade Parents,

Welcome to 5th grade and what is going to be an incredible year for your child. With your help we know it will be nothing short of amazing!

We have put a great deal of thinking into what we believe we need in terms of supplies to create an optimal learning environment for your student. In an effort to create equity and uniformity amongst the 5th grade we have put together a supply list that we will provide for your student with your monetary donation. This “package” will have everything your child will need and it will ensure that every child has the same supplies at their fingertips daily.

We are asking each family to consider a donation of $200. This donation will be used throughout the year to make sure your child has their own personal supplies in the classroom. These supplies will be purchased for your child using our educational discount through Office Depot or as a bulk purchase through other suppliers so that we can receive the best price. Copying, online subscriptions and memberships will also be covered. Field trips are separate from this donation and will be discussed at a later date.

In addition to classroom materials, part of your donation will support supplies for your child’s PE program.

As you can see the list is quite comprehensive and we rely on your donations to give your student the best 5th grade experience.
